You are bidding on VE #11, Prokhorovka Update. This module is an Update to the BOARDGAMER's Prokhorovka's battles found in the BOARDGAMER's special Panzerblitz issue. It is also done by today's premier Panzerblitz writer, Alan Arvold.
He writes:
"Back in March 2001 the special PANZERBLITZ issue of the BOARDGAMER was published. Among its contents was the original version of this article. While certainly accurate in 1998 when the article was written, given the information available up to that point, over the years since then it's historical accuracy started to slip as more information and Red Army operational records from the Second World War became available to the public, subsequently disproving many of the so-called "historical facts" that had previously been accepted. The sad part about it is that it took three years to get the original article published while this was happening. Because I wanted to keep these scenarios relevant to the currently available information and revised histories, I have taken it upon myself to revise and update them."
These scenarios use the SS Counters found in VQ #4, SS Leader. You may play these scenarios with or without SS Leaders. NOTE: To play these scenarios, you will need 2 PANZERBLITZ games, VQ #4 - SS Leader, and this variant module.
